Attorney Bios

When Joyce Carlozzi enters a courtroom she wears two hats. She is a registered nurse and a practicing attorney. Both professional backgrounds serve her well when she deals with medical negligence, nursing home neglect, wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases at Seaman Garson LLC.

As an RN Joyce has first-hand knowledge of the proper medical protocol and nursing home procedures. "With my medical background and legal training I am a patient advocate within the legal system," she says. "Clients see me at a very vulnerable time in their lives, when a loved one is either seriously hurt or has died while in a nursing home or hospital. Because they suspect their loved one was not given the right care, we discuss the circumstances and whether we have a possible case for medical malpractice or nursing home negligence."

To relax from the fast pace of her professional life Joyce enjoys golf, gardening and traveling.
